Affiliate Terms

AFF-002 v1.3.0

1. Eligibility And Joining

1.1Anyone aged 18 or over, or a registered business, may apply. Applications are approved by Magoro Smart Systems.

1.2Magoro Smart Systems may accept or decline any application without giving a reason.

1.3Each affiliate receives one unique code. Codes are not transferable.

1.4An affiliate accepts the current agreement at sign-up. The accepted version is recorded.

2. What An Affiliate Can Promote

2.1One product, several products, or all products listed in the dashboard.

2.2Products that are not yet live (currently WattLink) cannot be promoted until they are listed as available.

2.3Only the official links generated in the dashboard count for tracking.

3. What Counts As A Referral

3.1A referral is recorded when a prospect arrives through the affiliate's link and later submits an enquiry or intake form within 30 days of the click.

3.2If more than one affiliate referred the same prospect, the most recent valid referral inside the window is credited.

3.3A referral is not credited if the prospect is the affiliate, a person living with the affiliate, or a business the affiliate owns or manages.

3.4Magoro Smart Systems decides whether a referral is valid, using its own records.

4. Commission

4.1Commission is paid only on money Magoro Smart Systems has actually received from a referred client, excluding VAT, payment provider fees and third-party pass-through costs such as Meta messaging charges.

4.2Rates are between 5% and 12% of the amount received, depending on the product and whether the payment is a setup fee or a monthly fee. The rate for each product is shown in the affiliate dashboard. The rate in force when a payment is confirmed applies to that payment.

4.3Commission is paid on a limited number of successful payments from each referred client:

(a)For an affiliate's first five referred clients, on the first 6 successful payments of each.

(b)From the sixth referred client onward, on the first 12 successful payments of each.

(c)The number (6 or 12) is fixed when the referred client's first payment is confirmed.

(d)Payments are counted, not calendar months. If a client skips one or more months and later pays again, commission continues until the full number of payments has been made.

(e)A refunded or reversed payment does not count toward the number.

(f)The 12 payment term applies only to clients referred from the sixth onward. Clients one to five stay at 6 payments.

(g)A one-off setup fee earns commission at the same rate and counts as the first payment.

4.4Commission is not paid on payments that are refunded, reversed or charged back.

4.5Rates may change for future referrals with 30 days notice. Referrals already credited keep the rate that applied when they were credited.

4A. Referral Status Visibility

4A.1The dashboard shows the status of each of the affiliate's referrals: lead, awaiting payment, active, skipped payment, refunded, cancelled, term complete or not credited.

4A.2The dashboard shows the product, status, number of payments counted and the affiliate's own commission. It does not show a referred client's contact details or payment references.

4A.3Affiliates must treat everything shown in the dashboard as confidential and must not use it to contact or pressure referred clients.

5. Hold, Approval And Status

5.1Each commission starts as pending.

5.2It becomes approved after a hold period of 30 days if the payment has not been refunded or reversed.

5.3It becomes paid when the payout is made.

5.4It becomes void if the payment is refunded or reversed, the referral breaks these rules, or the referral is found to be invalid.

5.5If a commission has been paid and the payment is later reversed, the amount may be deducted from future payouts.

6. Payouts

6.1Payouts are made by EFT to a South African bank account in the affiliate's own name or the registered business name.

6.2Payouts are made monthly for all approved commission. There is currently no minimum payout. This may change with 30 days notice.

6.3Bank details are collected only when a first payout becomes due.

6.4The affiliate is responsible for their own tax obligations.
